*blows the dust off*

Holy cow, has it really been almost a whole year since I have blogged?  I don't know how it gets away from me, I always have the best intentions, but never quite get it down.

Let's see...first and foremost, my boys are awesome.  And growing.. a lot.  Too much.

ON June 12th at their 15 month well baby Blake weighed 23 pounds and was 31.5 inches tall and Luke weighed 23.13 and was 31.5 inches tall.  They are doing really well.

Sleep.  Blake has always been our great sleeper, but Luke..oh boy...he was a toughie.  He did not sleep through the night until he hit 13 months old.  We never did cry it out, many people said we should, and we did try it for one night, but it never felt right to me.  I am glad we didn't.  One day around 13 months he just slept through and it was heaven.  Before that he would wake up once a night and need some snuggle time and most times would go right back down to sleep, other times it was more difficult.  They still take 2 naps a day, even though I guess they should be ready to switch to one, they show no signs of being ready and the few times we have tried were a disaster.  So their schedule looks a bit like this:

7:45 wake up
8am sippy cup of milk (almond milk)
9am breakfast
10:30 am nap (for one hour and 15 minutes or so)
12:30-1 lunch
3pm nap (for an hour)
5:30 dinner
bath after dinner
7 pm a snack (almost always greek yogurt)
7:30 bedtime

Eating:  They eat almost anything and everything..no issues at all.

Play:  They love to play..I feel like they may be getting bored of some of the toys they had gotten for christmas and their birthday.  They love to play outside, balls are a favorite, the pool, the sandbox.

They were pretty sick over the winter, they had many, many ear infections, croup, coxsackie virus, colds, etc..it was pretty rough (and expensive).  They just had tubes put in their ears on friday (7/6/12).  They continued to get fluid in their ears and hearing was a concern, as was balance (more for Luke)

More very soon, I promise!
